The team at Love The Punt have found a couple of runners that are worth following from racing around Australia on Saturday September 9.
Moonee Valley Race 3, No 3 ANAHEIM - 4th
Blew like a gale in the betting and probably rightfully so given his fresh record, wide gate, first look at the Valley etc but he absolutely motored home for fourth. Heavy tracks brought him undone in the Autumn after a promising win last spring carnival. He's very much untapped and looks set for a big campaign this time in.
Moonee Valley Race 4, No 3 FOUNDATION - 8th
Criticism very unfair on Jake Duffy for the ride on this one (turns into an absolute pearler if the gap is there) but worth putting in the black book irrespective. Forced back from a wide barrier and made an early move and to still be bolting at 100m is a big effort. Keen to back next start.
Rosehill Race 5, No 6 EGG TART - 2nd
