TERANG - David Taggart
Race 5, No. 3 CALIBRATION
Faces a heavy track for the first time here in his career but does look as though he will get through it as he has placed on the slow. Weir has spaced his runs since coming over from Ireland and has improved in both runs to date. This is easier than last start when placed at Sandown, he should be winning.
Race 6, No. 8 SHAKOPEE
Ready to go here third up after racing flat last start. Has drawn well in 3 to get a nice run in transit for the man who nearly pinched the Sydney Cup in Dean Holland. Has had the one start on the heavy for a win and he looks way over the odds here at $14 for this Terang Cup.
