Race 1: 2-5-8-3. Tricky start to the night and Purton may hold the key here. Is generally thereabouts in this class and is probably the most reliable galloper in it.
Race 2: 2-1-3-6. Best Value see below.
Race 3: 4-1-2-3. Very competitive line-up. Super Form did work last start and still hit the line. Is capable of turning the tables here if he settles closer tonight.
Race 4: 2-1-6-8. Best Bet see below.
Race 5: 4-1-9-2. Pretty open event but it was a big win last time he was in this grade and wasn't far away fresh in a Class 3 last time in.
Race 6: 8-7-3-1. Up in class and drawn out but he'll get back anyway. Look for him late if they over-do it up front.
Race 7: 8-5-12-6. A bit of a thin race and he should get a good camp off the pace. Can upset the fav with the right run home.
Race 8: 5-9-3-1. Plenty of chances in the last but he does map for the most favors.
BEST BET: Race 4, No. 2 VICTORY POWER
Looks due and the fresh run when put straight under pressure at the 300m after travelling well was full of merit given he only found one better and the other on-pacers were dropping off late. If he settles better and possibly takes a trail tonight, then he looks tough to beat.
BEST VALUE: Race 2, No. 2 LONDON CITY
It might be worth forgiving the back-end of last prep where he was contesting in some pretty hot Class 3's and this doesn't look the strongest Class 4 (won last time in this grade/track and trip). Draws for a soft run for Douglas Whyte and looks to have good each way claims at $9.
Quaddie: 1,2,4,5,8,11/3,7,8/5,8/1,3,4,5,9. $90 gets you 50%.
