Six time G1 winning Jockey David Taggart and Alex Marsh have a look back at each jurisdictions season and who is in the box seat to take out each jockey premiership.
With just six weeks to go in the 2016/2017 racing season, who's fighting it out for the end prize?
Dean Yendall on 133 wins is twenty one ahead of his nearest rival in Linda Meech on 112. Jamie Mott and Damian Lane have also cracked the century with 102 and 101 winners respectively.
The Metro premiership looks a good battle between young sensation Beau Mertens and Craig Williams with only one winner separating them.
Dean Yendall on 122 is probably home on the Country premiership, Linda Meech is running second on 108.

It will be an interesting tussle for the metro flag but perhaps the experience of Williams may be enough to give him a slight edge in the run home for the premiership although it'd be a terrific effort for Beau to pull it off this early in his career. Special mention to Linda Meech who broke the record for the most wins by a female rider in the one season".
