1. BLACK HEART BART
Jockey: Brad Rawiller Barrier: 1 O
Pros: Brave in the Railway with a big weight and back to WFA is a massive plus. Form this prep has still been very consistent against stronger company and you don't win 5 Group 1's and nearly 4 million in prize money and not be a major contender in this.
Cons: Is that killer instinct still there? Apart from that he's always been that bit suspect past a mile and he's virtually just been a 7 furlong specialist in Group 1 company.
Verdict: Getting short in the market but he still warrants the most respect in this field.
2. IT'S SOMEWHAT
Jockey: Brenton Avdulla Barrier: 11` O
Pros: Very underrated galloper that hasn't been knocked around by a big spring carnival in the east. 1800m is about perfect for him, loves racing on top of the ground and that run in a much tougher Mackinnon Field with a subsequent trial should top him off nicely for this.
Cons: Barrier 11 is the biggest one and he hasn't had a lot of racing under his belt this prep. In Australia, he hasn't been quite as effective running in the anti-cloc...
