Origin week, and a couple of blokes that wouldn’t look out of place in the front row, were in the stewards room early, at Rosehill on Saturday.

Bjorn Baker’s Test The World nailed Arbeitsam in the shadows of the post in the ATC Memberships On Sale 3YB-78 (R2).

But Dean Watt, Managing Director of Dynamic Syndications, owner of the runner-up was quick to fire in a protest.

Watt’s fate appeared sealed following his own description of the interference, when he told Chief Steward Marc Van Gestel, “my horse does shift out a horse-and-a-half.”

Co-trainer Adrian Bott had little to add, while Baker’s defence was also short and sweet.

“I’m glad I didn’t put the protest in, as I might have been done for (being) frivolous,” he said.

The comment drew the ire of Watt who told Baker to “leave the sarcastic out of it, it doesn’t make you funny.&rdquo...
