"Naming the horse as we speak"

Winx’s half-brother, a $2.3 million Inglis Easter purchase last year, is working towards a debut in the spring.

The Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott-trained colt, like big sis’, is currently in pre-training at the moment.

“Connections are in the process of naming the horse as we speak,” Bott told G1X.com.au.

The soon-to-be three-year-old, who is a full brother to El Divino, being by Snitzel, has previously been in and out of Tulloch lodge, with Bott saying his education is progressing well.

“He’ll be ready for the three-year-old spring. It’s undecided when his first trial will be, with it still some months away, but those decisions will be made as he continues to progress,” he said.
