Track Comment: The rail hasn't moved from Oaks Day and the track has played excellent over the Flemington carnival so far.
Race 4 No. 7 Lite'n In My Veins began slowly, had no luck but still ran a fabulous first up fifth over 1200 m to Rich Charm at Caulfield. He has a good record at 1400 m and hits his straps second up.
Price assessors clearly don't believe Race 9 No. 1 Sircconi can give all his rivals 6kg. But he rates well above them, will be on speed and is over the odds.
Stephen Baster is clearly the man for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott partnership at this carnival. He has had four rides for them over the first three days for an impressive three wins and a second.
