SUNSHINE COAST - Alex Marsh
Race 7, No. 6 FLOWER OF LOVE
Ex-NSW galloper who may have just been searching for a wet track this whole time as she absolutely bolted in first up at Doomben and it's easier to go through the grades up in the sunshine state. Main threat looks the top weight who obviously has some ability but may just find this too short whilst this mare will be making her own luck on speed.
Race 9, No. 12 WORD FOR WORD
Waller trained filly who won well fresh albeit a maiden but the form was franked and she does have scope for improvement. Will roll forward in a race that doesn't have any speed and she will handle the wet track. Big step up but there's no world beaters here amongst the locals and I think she's the one with upside.
MUDGEE - David Taggart
Race 2, No. 4 HE’S A HOTSHOT & Race 3, No. 1 BIG BAD BRUCE
One of the worse meetings I’ve seen in a long time with Bjorn Baker taking these two morals up to Mudgee for a kill. They both are limited but find their races, $2.70 for the double.
