BEST: Race 8, No. 12 SURPRISE BABY - $2.60
Adelaide Cup winner who off a freshen up, tuned up for this Andrew Ramsden perfectly where he made up a heap of ground, hit the line sensationally with 60kg and was spotting plenty of weight to the first two home. Superbly in at WFA and she's clearly the one to beat even from the wide gate.
VALUE: Race 9, No. 2 TEQUILA TIME - $10.00
Put a line through the fresh effort in Adelaide when the saddle slipped and respect the Leon MacDonald stable bringing him over for this. One of the better South Australian 2yo's we've seen in a long time last year and he can sustain a strong gallop on speed. Very talented and he's a double figure price for the risk.
BEST: Race 5, No. 5 KOLDING - $2.50
Always had a lot of ability but was never able to put it together on race day and has been another great advertisement for the ultimate gear change as he's just looked a far more professional galloper in his last two wins since returning as a gelding. Needs to see out this trip but I think he has a fair bit of class on these and is very well placed to win again.
VALUE: Race 4, No. 11 MASTER OF WINE - $8.00
