Australia's leading trainer Chris Waller will train his first runner for Aquis Farm on Saturday at Randwick. Colosimo, a 2yo filly by Foxwedge, who was formally in the care of Steven O'Dea at Eagle Farm, lines up in the ATC Member For A Day Handicap.
"Aquis are starting to spread their wings, they've got a serious management group there now," Waller said.
"It's a privilege to train for them"
Colosimo, was a dominant winner on debut at the Gold Coast, before heading to Doomben, where she was once again impressive in winning. Her final run of her first preparation was in the G3 B.J McLachlan where she finished down the track.
Since arriving at the Waller stable, Colosimo has taken out both of her trials, which gives us a strong indication that she will be ready to fire first up on Saturday. She currently finds herself $3.70 equal favourite with TopBetta.
Waller has an extremely strong hard at Randwick on Saturday where he saddles up 9 runners.
He also has Diapason and Jaminzah engaged to go around at Flemington.
