LAUNCESTON

Race 1: 4-5-9-1. Cimarron's Hero was something beat first up. Needs a decisive steer from this gate, though.

Race 2: 7-6-1-3. Should take plenty out of that debut Our Long Sali and was beaten by a smart one in good time.

Race 3: 11-4-7-6. Tricky race. Breathtaking is first up, showed enough last prep and has less convictions than these.

Race 4: 1-3-5-2. Best Bet see below.

Race 5: 2-6-5-10. Plenty of chances here. Gallow Gate is unbeaten at the track and trip.

Race 6: 5-3-6-1. Good luck catching Century Arrow if it's a leaders track and Boltoutoftheblue was very unlucky last start.

Race 7: 1-4-3-2. Looks short enough at $1.70 Fragment. Harvey Bay gets in superbly with the claim.

Race 8: 9-3-1-4. Best Value see below.

Best Bet: Race 4, No. 1 CITY OF DREAMS

Promising filly who's been freshened right up for this Magic Millions event. Things didn't quite go right for her against Mr Songman and co but there doesn't look to be anything of his ability chasing her tonight. Very tough to beat here if she's right.

Best Value: Race 8, No. 9 CRYSTAL'S PASS
