Has put two cracking runs in so far this prep to suggest he's going very well, ready for the extended trip now and Pike jumps back on board. Draw shouldn't worry him as he'll settle back anyway and this looks a very nice race for him to return to the winners stall.

Race 8, No. 9 DARK CHOICE

I concede that Regal Power will be mighty hard to beat, but $1.60 for a horse having its first crack over the 2400m is a touch light on. We now know this girl will get the trip having taken out the Oaks two weeks back. As long as she can get a reasonable run from the gate, she's going to be right in the finish and the $10 is much more appealling.

The Stats Say Bob Peters will win the WA Derby as he usually does, 5 out of the last 6 have been taken out by the cerise and white and he has a three pronged attack including the red hot favourite Regal Power.

Race 8, No. 1 REGAL POWER

All the money has been for this son of Pierro to be taking out the 2019 WA Derby for Pike and Team Williams, opened $1.90, is now as short as $1.60.

Race 1: 1,3,5,4 (You can't tip against Pretty Style who is two from two, but $1.60 is very short, play the exotics around Annihilator who has trialled up well)

Race 2: 7,5,4,2 (Not a race I'm keen on, gun to my head, I'm with the Pope/Pike runner in Boyagin)

Race 3: 6,1,2,3 (Yeah Bravo finally broke through, hoping he can string a few together now, Geiger Gem is flying and chances to New Age and Superior Smile, tricky race)

Race 4: 6,4,2,1 (BEST BET)

Race 5: 7,1,6,2 (Quality little race with plenty of live chances, was really impressed with Altani when she broke her maiden last time, seriously untapped and interesting that Pike takes the rides, thats a good push)

Race 6: 4,1,2,3 (Can make a case for just about all of these, with Summer's Skye who deserves a win and is racing very well)

Race 7: 11,8,9,1 (You just can't back against Special Reward who was dominant first up, Diablerie and back luck are the only dangers)

Race 8: 9,1,11,2 (BOLTER)

Race 9: 10,13,4,8 (Double Bubble was ok when beaten as favourite first up, will improve of that run and this isn't overly strong)
