No. 2 SINE TIMORE loves a soft track and is knocking on the door of another win after storming home from near last at Ipswich to place 0.4L third to Via Con Dios over 800m last start. No. 4 Anasheed likes a wet track and could surprise the favoured runners if she finds her best form after a freshen-up. No. 6 Irish Mambo has place claims if the track gets back to the good range. No. 7 Eagles Nest will strip fitter for resuming effort but would also want the track to dry out a little more to be at her best.
100-unit win bet on No.2 Sine Timore.
No. 4 SHOW HARMONY looks beautifully placed on home track and likes the sting out of the surface too. He has drawn the inside gate and should be handy throughout in his first run since a seven-week let-up. No. 1 Iona Fast One showed improvement last start when 0.6L third to Tahoe City at the Sunshine Coast (1000m). No. 3 Natural Dancer has claims back to this grade after finding Saturday class racing at Doomben too stiff in recent runs. No. 5 Choc Mountain races best fresh and handles soft going okay so today's track should be ideal if we don't get more rain.
70-unit win bet on No. 4 Show Harmony. 30-unit win bet on No. 1 Iona Fast One.
No. 1 LORD TSCHARKE has won two of five including last start Class 1 at the Sunshine Coast and a maiden here at Beaudesert on debut. He handles soft going okay and has drawn ideally here. No. 3 Bam’s Princess returns from a six-week let-up and usually races well first-up. No. 5 Rosie Posie will have gained some confidence from her maiden win at the Sunny Coast last start but this is a leap in grade. Her maiden win was in good time so she has to be included amongst the better hopes.
100-unit boxed quinella with 1,3,5.
No. 1 AUSSIE JACK ticks a lot of boxes after his last start dead heat for second behind Falchion over 1100m at Ipswich on March 4. He likes a soft track and will probably roll forward to sit outside the leader here. No. 2 D’Harmony looks the testing material and won debut on soft track at the Sunshine Coast before failing to threaten in first go at Class 1 last start. He has drawn well and has Jimmy Orman in the irons. No. 8 Wiggle Wiggle will get it right one day and cause a boilover. She jumped awkwardly and lost a plate last start, so could have finished closer to Extrasay and Thessaly at Ipswich. No. 9 Zany Lass in on home track and handles the soft going well. From barrier 1 she is a good value hope for those playing exotics.
70-unit win bet on No. 1 Aussie Jack. 30-unit standout quinella with 1 / 2,8,9.
