Race 8, No. 2 DAL HARRAILD
Import now with Maher/Eustace that had no luck what so ever in the Herbert Power at Caulfield. Found a great position 3 back the fence and was shuffled back to basically last at the top of the straight and didn't have a lot of room in the run to the post. Blinkers go on and should go forward from barrier 9 for McEvoy to win the Cup.
Race 6, No. 1 BAROOD
Coming across the border from South Australia with a pretty good record of late. Draws well will stalk the speed and will find this easier than last start. Not here for a holiday and should be going very close at $7.
Damien "Frosty" Lane has a very good book of 7 rides today. He has a winning strike rate of 25% here for the current Bendigo season.
Race 3, No. 2 MR GENOA
Now in the Weir camp after winning his maiden comfortably in the West in the Winter. Has been backed off the map here after opening up at $3.40 is now in the red at a $1.90.
Leg 1: 1,2,4,5,6
Leg 2: 2
Leg 3: 3,5,9,10,11
Leg 4: 1,2,3,5,7,10,11
$175 gets 100%
Race 1: 6-7-5-4. Beaten fav when resuming at Pakenham last start, has ability and won't be excuses here.
Race 2: 5-9-7-3. Has been stiff of late and is looking for this trip, should get the job done here.
Race 3: 2-1-4-5. Has come over from the West and has been very heavily supported. Same sire as Black Heart Bart.
Race 4: 1-8-7-4. Very consistent galloper that has never been far away from Saturday metro winners last time in.
Race 5: 3-1-2-6. Goes well fresh and will find this easier than her last couple when last in work.
Race 6: 1-3-6-5. Value see above.
Race 7: 2-6-4-1.Not bad first up and seems to take a run to get going. Has won or placed in all 3 second up runs and drops back to a 70 here from last start
Race 8: 2-3-4-5. Best see above
Race 9: 10-9-3-11. Comes out of a good form race with the winner of that catching the eye at Moonee Valley Saturday.
Race 10: 2-3-7-10. Draws a gate today to take up a prominent position and do no work in the run. Drops in grade and wil be going very close.
