Track Comments: The rail was in the same position at the last meeting. It should be fair racing.
Race 4 - 3:00pm - 1200m 58 GRADE
No. 1 INVINCIBLE ME missed the start from his inside gate at Donald on March 4. He therefore settled further back on the rails than would have been intended. He worked his way through the field to be in a challenging position soon after straightening but could not catch the winner. With a cleaner getaway, he can win today. No. 2 Our Mallee Hoff is lightly raced and won here before going for a spell at the end of his first campaign. No. 5 Kalkidan battled away bravely for third over 1100m at Stawell on March 3 and the extra distance will suit him.

Race 7 - 4:30pm - 1400m MILDURA CUP
No. 3 MASTER RESET is the youngest horse in the race and flies fresh. The 1400m is perfect for him first-up and he was powerful at the end of a 990m trial at Cranbourne last Monday. He will be hard to run down. No. 6 Flyingconi will be fitter for his two runs this preparation. He was uncomfortable in the soft going at Hillside, February 17. No. 2 Mr Backchat had not raced for six weeks when he ran a solid placing at Morphettville on February 27. Darren Weir makes a habit of winning country Cups so do not underestimate No. 8 Live For Today. He is good enough on his day and this is his best distance.
