  • Rail Position: +8m 1200m - WP, +4m Remainder. Sectional 610m.
  • Track Conditions: Good 4.
  • Track Comments: Back on the main track and expect all runners to get their chance as they generally do when it's in the good range.

Race 6, No. 7 COOL PASSION

At WFA and dropping back from a record breaking G1 Canterbury Stakes effort when boxing on well, she does look the obvious with only other logical threat on form being I'll Have A Bit who gets back, needs luck and doesn't win out of turn. Can find the right spot here for Barend Vorster, is bursting to win the right race and this looks that chance.

Race 8, No. 6 CHUCKY

Anjana looks the safest, Behemoth maybe be the most talented but just thought this 3yo was a crazy price for an each way throw at the stumps. Showed above average ability in his first preparation before a nice return off one trial where the big horse just hasn't been able to balance up but draws out here. His toughest ask so far but there's enough to like.

Raquel Clark is leading the way for the hoops at Morphettville this season with 20 winners so far and will be keen to make an impression against stronger opposition now the carnival has started. No excuses not to do so here with a full book of rides and there's some strong chances amongst them engagements.

Race 4, No. 10 BLACK SAIL

He is a thinker that's had chances but with the blinkers coming off and returning off a little freshen up, he's had some early support ($8.00 - $6.00).

Leg 1: 1,2,3,7,16

Leg 2: 7

Leg 3: 2,3,9,11,13

Leg 4: 3,6,7

$75 gets you 100%.

Race 1: 12-4-1-3. Looks a big strong girl that showed good maturity from the spring in a recent trial, however it's a raffle lining these up and the betting late could tell the story.

Race 2: 7-9-8-3. On ability Gytrash & Debt Collector are the 2 best horses in the race, so the market has it spot on. Just leaning Debt Collector's way who's likely to counter less traffic whereas Gytrash could be seeing backsides from 1.

Race 3: 8-5-9-6. I'd be careful on trusting any of these. On form Fancy Rumble finds her right race. Dragged the field up to a hot tempo last start at listed level and beat all bar one.

Race 4: 5-1-10-6. Looks the one ready to peak third up and drops back to benchmark company. Gap between runs the query but does have some history of doing so with success.

Race 5: 7-1-3-6, Competitive lineup. Star Status may be the each way play at $8. Beats the fav here last start in another stride, hits this third up and the extra 200m suits.

Race 6: 7-8-3-6. Best Bet see above.

Race 7: 3-2-9-11. No match for Mr Quickie second up but whacked away fairly for second with a decent gap back to third. If she can find the front, she should be thereabouts again at each way odds.

Race 8: 6-7-3-9. Bolter see above.
