Race 4, No. 1 SAVAPINSKI
Race 7, No. 2 SANTA ANA LANE
An eye catcher here two weeks back and the closing splits backed that up with some very sharp work over the last 200m. Wasn't far away in this race last year and looks perfectly drawn for Melham in 9 if he can get this run to suit. There's a query on how deep the Goodwood is this year on class and he looks a big price at $16.
Darren Weir is striking at better than 24% when he's been bringing them over the border to Morphettville this season. He has sent over a big team for this meeting with runners in 7 of the 8 races.
Race 1, No. 4 YOGI
Looks the class runner of the race and has been well supported ($2.00 into $1.75). In the Goodwood theres been good early support for Viddora ($10.00 into $7.50).
Leg 1: 1,9,14
Leg 2: 1,2,6,15,17
Leg 3: 1,2,5
Leg 4: 1,2,9
$135 gets you 100%.
Race 1: 4-1-3-5. Small field might be the query but irrespective he looks to have a class edge on these.
Race 2: 1-7-8-3. Interesting race. He's the best horse in it but will he handle the short back-up?
Race 3: 1-2-4-5. Clearly the pick of the runners coming out of the Oaks when looking at this trip. Bad barrier, though.
Race 4: 1-8-2-9. Best Bet see above.
Race 5: 9-1-14-12. Competitive race but I have a lot of time for Land Of Plenty who's flying at the moment.
Race 6: 1-15-6-17. Possibly Dainty Tess the value if we forgive the Sangster run where she threw a plate? This is a lot easier.
Race 7: 2-1-5-3. Bolter see above.
Race 8: 2-1-9-18. Beat a stronger field third up last time in. Looks well paced here.
