Race 4, No. 2 MARKET RULER
Building a picket fence is this 3yo filly, having put away a similar field to what she'll meet today in comfortable fashion last time out. Draws out, but will push forward and ride the speed and with the Witten claim, she'll only carry the 56.5kg. Hard to hold out.
Race 7, No. 1 WRINKLY
Just missed last time out in a close photo, extra 200m looks perfect and the claim for Witten gets him in really well at the weights. Clearly the class runner of the field and I think at the $10, he's an excellent each way chance.
Simon Miller trained runners are striking at 25% so far this season at Pinjarra. He will saddle up our best bet Market Ruler.
Race 3, No. 7 THE FINEST
One at a big price, having opened at $12, is now in to $8.50. Ran third on debut and gets the services of Troy Turner who rode 4 winners at Geraldton on Thursday.
Leg 1: 1,7,14
Leg 2: 1,10
Leg 3: 1,2,3,8,11
Leg 4: 3,10,11,12,14,15
$60 gets you 33%
Race 1: 3,6,4,1 (Made a flying start to her career Rubic Rose, was dominant breaking her maiden in a similar race last time out. Eye Of The Day is the unknown, trialled well, watch the market)
Race 2: 1,2,4,8 (The top two are clear standouts, The Big Show should be too good again)
Race 3: 2,3,1,7 (Ran a nice closing second behind Market Ruler who I expect will win the next race, thats good enough for me)
Race 4: 2,1,5,8 (BEST BET)
Race 5: 7,14,6,1 (Shackleton has his hoof on the till after two really good first up runs, happy to be with him from the good draw)
Race 6: 1,10,3,4 (One Short was good last time out, but not a race I'm keen on, I'll be putting a few in the quaddie)
Race 7: 1,11,8,2 (BOLTER)
Race 8: 10,14,15,3 (Tricky race, with Paddy's Shadow from the gun draw)
