No. 7 GRACIOUS GREY could have won her most recent trial but the jockey elected to give her a soft hit-out in the final stages. Tim Clark is riding very well lately and he’ll make sure he gets the best out of this filly today. Watch for her to get back and attack the line strongly. No. 6 Regenesis was a little bit disappointing considering the gun run he had last start but I expect him to improve today because he should have taken a lot of benefit from that run. This colt has drawn well so he should get a soft run throughout and finish off well. No. 8 Lusutania has had a few quiet trials and I think she can run a big race at nice odds today. Keep a close eye on the market to see if there is any support for this filly. No. 3 Grincheux is a well-bred colt that has trialled very well recently. He will be well educated and I expect him to finish off strongly.

Very excited to see both No. 7 DIXIE CHIX and No. 1 Chetwood do battle. Both horses look to be well above average and I would not be surprised if they went on and competed well in Group company. Dixie Chix was well supported on debut and punters would have been a bit scared when Tommy Berry looked in trouble halfway down the straight. But once this filly saw daylight, she absolutely exploded to win impressively. Chetwood is a very good horse in the making but I have chosen to go with the filly today because this bloke looks unders in the market. The big weight is also a concern. Both horses will get a lovely run throughout and I would be very surprised if either one of these two didn't win this BM 67. No. 5 To Be Sure will appreciate the drop back in grade and she is a good horse at her best. I am a bit worried that she hasn't come back as well this prep. No. 8 Kitty Leroy will need to improve if she is going to win this. She is a definite chance of finishing in the placings if she has trained on.

No. 5 HIEROGLYPHICS had a soft trial recently and if she has come back well this prep then I can't see anything beating her today. She is a talented mare that has raced well in much better races and she will get every chance from barrier 2 today. No. 8 Remunerator didn't really beat much last start but I like the way she tried hard all the way to the line and she couldn't be any fitter coming into this assignment. She will box seat from barrier 1. No. 4 Painte has trialled okay this time in and he should be pretty forward for this first-up run. He would have learnt a lot from last prep and his record at this track is very good. My only concern with this horse is if the track will be too hard for him. No. 6 Just Like Stratum raced well in lesser grade last prep but it’s hard to get a guide on how well he is going because he hasn't had any trials this time in.

No. 10 ART NOUVEAU is a three-year-old gelding that has been racing very consistently and I really like that he won’t carry much weight on his back after the 3kg claim. He will roll forward from the barrier and make his own luck today. This race isn't overly hard so he should be a big chance if he puts his best foot forward. No. 2 Brewery easily blew away his rivals last start and hopefully that win has switched him on to be a more mature galloper. The ability is definitely there with this gelding but his current quote of $2.60 is way too short in such an open race. No. 8 Top Striker raced well in a pretty handy field last start and with the right run today he should be very hard to beat. If the leaders go too hard up front then this horse will be getting over the top of this field. No. 6 Raijinz is coming into this after a little freshen up and he should be able to show his best from barrier 3 today. His last-start effort was good in a similar race and this horse will appreciate the 3kg claim off his back.

No. 7 FALKENBERG was very impressive first-up at Hawkesbury and that win suggests that she has come back a better horse this prep. I like that Kerrin McEvoy has chosen to stick with this filly again today. She is going to be very hard to beat from barrier 2. No. 3 Dubaiinstyle was a bit disappointing last start but I am happy to give him another chance because he looks to be a horse with plenty of potential. The step up to 1600m is a big tick. He’s third-up today and should be fit and ready to show his best. No. 8 Happy Hannah won like a smart animal last start at Hawkesbury but I am a bit concerned that she might get too far back today from the wide barrier. I’m not going to say she can't win because she it very talented but there is plenty against her in this BM 67. She will get better and better as the distances get longer. No. 4 Moher gets a perfect run from barrier 1 in this race and he should be ready to show his best now that he is third-up. He has won third-up in the past but this race is much harder.

No. 2 TREMEZZINA did enough first-up at Rosehill and I can't work out why a filly with this much potential is such a big price. She needed the run first-up so she should strip fitter today and I expect her to relish the extra distance. We should see her settle in the second half of the field and attack the line strongly. No. 5 Typecast is unbeaten in both runs this prep and I thought her last-start win was good enough to be competitive in this BM 72. She has drawn wide but she should be able to roll forward and sit outside the leader. I thought she was a bit overrated after her first-up win but she has definitely proved me wrong. No. 1 Ravi should be ready to show her best now that she drops back in distance and is third-up. she got beaten by a smart one last start and I would like to see her ridden very quiet today so she can attack the line strongly. The ability is there but I am a bit concerned that she might be a bit of a tease. No. 8 Love’s A Fantasy is holding her form very well this prep and her last-start effort behind a good horse is well and truly good enough to finish in the placings here.

No. 11 TROIS CHOIX ran a nice race behind a horse I have a good opinion of last start and she should be ready to fire third-up today. This mare will love stepping up to 1600m and she has drawn well so she shouldn’t be as far back today. No. 1 Appoint Percy was too good for his rivals last start and he will be very competitive again today from a soft draw. He grew a leg over this distance last start but the big weight is my only concern with him today. No. 3 Crosley Hotshot was far too good last start and we should see an even better horse now that he is third-up. This race is harder but he looks to be a nice horse on the up. No. 7 Multifacets was ridden a touch close last start and I think that is the reason why he didn’t finish off as strongly. He looked a bit one paced last start so the drop back in distance should suit this colt. Watch for him to attack the line down the middle of the track.
