Rosehill Review – August 31

FOLLOW: Who’s Shout – 2nd. Forced back and to go for luck after drawing poorly (nice ride by Brock Ryan), he was the clear eye-catcher late in a race dominated by Nash Rawiller on the hard fit leader. Was only second up, is still eligible for Class 1 company and looks capable of getting further. Should be winning a few races this time in. 

FORGIVE: Gunga Din – 11th. Found himself in no man’s land after some mid race moves shuffled him right back, then was off the bridle early before finding a second wind at the 200m but had no where to go and was severely checked. Lightly raced, won first up and it looked as though he’d get over ground in his first prep. Has some upside and I’d put a line through this run.

FORGET: None. Most are limited but many can be placed a little softer on the country circuit and plenty didn’t get through the heavy going.



FOLLOW: None. Winner was well rated and nicely placed in the conditions but there was a lack of depth to the field (the runner-up Le Dude had over three lengths on third and she hasn’t been able to score at Provincial Class 1 level).
