Tough maiden to line-up with a lot of the fancies being first starters or resuming runners. 15. SEFIRE is a well bred filly on debut. A half sister to Tango’s Daughter (Group 2 winner) and Tango Rain (city winner and Group 3 placed), she had the one trial leading in on August 14 when getting home fairly under a hold and that heat was in fair time around some very strong line-ups that morning. 12. First Dawn is an ex-Victorian first up for a new stable and was forward albeit ridden out in her hit-out leading in. Never came up in the autumn but was listed placed as an early 2yo. Concede chances to at the very least a few others including 13. Rock Tour (city placed in her first prep, may be a big improver on a good surface) and 6. Kuru Lass (drawn sticky again but brave last start when a month between runs).
